The official Turkish Police Association logo was designed and implemented in 2021 following the rebrand and design of the TPA. The TPA use the above logo on all official TPA documentation, as well as on our merchandise.

TPA History

 The Turkish Police Association was first formed in 2003 by members of the Metropolitan Police Service who sought to help the MPS unite with Turkish, Turkish Cypriot & Azerbaijani Londoners. The TPA Is an accredited staff association within the MPS.

The Turkish Police Association currently has no umbrella organisation, as such welcomes Officers & Staff from Police Constabularies and other law enforcement agencies across the UK and other UK territories.

The Turkish Police Association has many members of various different ranks all of whom have unique skill sets. Within our association we have a pool of experienced officers when it comes down to promotion processes, as such we pride our selves on being able to offer our members 1-1 support with any promotion.

The Turkish Police Association is well connected with the Turkish & Turkish Cypriot community in London, with that we make several appearances at events such as the annual Turkish Cypriot Festival, Turkish School festivals and other events to support the community. Networking and engagement with our communities and youth is key to the TPA.

The Turkish Police Association has qualified Grievance Officers apart of its structure, we're able to offer our members support and guidance through the MPS grievance procedure alongside support from our federated members.

 The Turkish Police Association has an official constitution and is strictly governed by this document. This is given to every member on joining along with a copy of the MPS Code of Ethics, all members must adhere to both the constitution and Code of Ethics at all times.

The Turkish Police Association also serves as a social platform, with a dedicated Social Secretary that is responsible for arranging quarterly social events for TPA Members and their families. We aim for these events to be well attended by members of the TPA, MPS as well as key community members and partners.
